A Charge to Keep is A Study of 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy & Titus, which is yet another installment in the “Life Changing Studies with an Open Bible.” The thirteen chapters by Mike Winkler cover the three epistles of Paul to preachers very well. Each chapter includes “Spending Time with the Text,” “An Overview of the Text,” “Mastering the Text,” “Building a ‘Better me’ from the Text,” and “Additional Gleanings from the Text” with questions for class discussion and research questions at the end.

Mike Winkler has been preaching the gospel since 1970 and has served congregations of the church of Christ in Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He holds a B.A. and two Masters degrees with emphases in biblical languages and counseling. He has done mission work in Jamaica, Panama, and Peru.
